What is araoama and what makes it unique?

Aroama is an aromatherapy wearable that tracks your stress levels. When you experience stress, Aroama will emit a soothing scent into the air around it. Additionally, Aroama's application will keep track of when and where you tend to experience stress or anxiety. Aroama provides instant relief as well as the information necessary to reflect and work towards a better lifestyle for long term stress management.

Made out of elastomer, the Aroama Band has a nice velvety hand-feel and aesthetically looks like fitness wearables.


Scent Diffusion Options
Aroama users can choose which mode they prefer for their wristband. The aromatherapy scent diffusion can be done either automatically when stress is detected, or manually released whenever the user chooses. There is of course also a mute option for whenever the user would rather not have any scent released.
Automatic Diffusion: Once the Aroama Band detects when a user is anxious, the inserted scent is automatically dispensed into the air, allowing a hands-free, on-the-go aromatherapy experience.
Manual Diffusion: Users can use the accompanying app to manually control the desired strength of scents and control the timing of the scent being released with the press of a button.
Scent Variety
Users can choose from a wide range of removable scent pods that cater to their preferences. These pods will be replaced every couple weeks, so you can experiment with differnt scents to see which work best for you.
Aroama's most popular aromas are lavender, chamomille, mint, and eucalyptus.

Daily and Long Term Health Reports
The Aroama app connects to Google Calendar and GPS to generate trends in anxiety occurrences. Users can access the app for daily reports, step-by-step breathing exercises, encouraging notes, and contact information for counseling therapists.
The Aroama app generates a comprehension, easy-to-understand, daily report detailing the user’s mental health performance to increase self awareness. These reports detail when you were stressed, where you were, and what you were doing. This information could be shared with close friends or a counselor if the user chooses. These reports enable personal reflection.
